OUR WRITE-UP

Exile is a BC-shot thriller with an emotional core that stayed with us long after delivery. It follows Ted Evans (Adam Beach), a man about to be released from prison after a fatal DUI, who receives a chilling threat: contact your family, and they die. Convinced the danger is real, Ted exiles himself to protect the people he loves — while his wife Sara (Camille Sullivan) tracks him down, believing the threat is a product of his guilt. Directed by Jason James and produced by Resonance Films, Goodbye Productions, and Service Street Pictures, the film premiered at the Whistler Film Festival to strong responses. We contributed five VFX shots to this intimate, beautifully shot indie — small in scope, but a meaningful contribution to a story worth telling.
